Our Front Yard

Some of you were asking what our house looks like now without the bushes so here you go. Sorry, this one is a little blurry, but you get the idea. If you look close you can see William standing on the porch. We took several starts of perennials from my parents and Matt's parents. Hopefully next year they will get even bigger and start to fill in.

Here is a side view. We live on a corner for those of you who have never been here.

We had a volunteer tomato plant grow up in one of our flower beds. I left it just so see if it would produce at all. Today I noticed two small green tomatoes so it looks like we'll get something. I don't know if they'll be regular or cherry size.

I love the flowers in this bed. This is in the front corner of the yard. There used to be a huge prickly bush here. The purple flowers on the right are volunteer.

Same flowers, different angle. Matt installed a soaker hose system throughout our flowers so we're not wasting as much water. So far it seems to be working really good.
