Craziness!!
So I have to post this right now because I'm still on an adrenalin rush from it. About 12:00 pm I went outside to get my mail. My neighbor kitty corner from me is always out in his garage doing woodworking stuff with his radio playing. So I'm outside and I hear a loud bang from his garage and he yells, "Ow" along with some other choice words. So I kept watching the garage to see if he would move around or if his wife was home. I thought I heard his wife talking to him (which turned out just to be the radio) and I still couldn't see him. So I went back into my house to get Lauren ready for the preschool carpool and told myself that I would go back out in a bit to see what was up. At 12:10, Lauren's ride came and I could hear the guy yelling HELP HELP HELP. So I booked it over to his house in my bare feet and pajamas (Yes, I was still in my pj's) and he was laying in the back of his garage on the floor in A LOT of pain. I called 911 and eventually they came. Apparently, he was screwing something into the ceiling when the ladder fell and he hit the ground. He said he was on the 3rd rung from the top on an average sized ladder. He landed on his left side and his ear was cut open, his middle finger was dislocated, and his left shoulder was possibly broken or dislocated. He was hurting so bad he couldn't stand up. Luckily I think that is all that happened. We called his wife home from work and they just took him to the hospital. Unfortunately I'm a labor & delivery nurse and couldn't really do much for him. Luckily Will was asleep and stayed asleep the whole 40 minutes that I was gone. There are two good things that came out of this: 1 I was able to meet some new neighbors that I hadn't met before and 2 I learned to always listen to the Spirit because it told me to go check on the guy and I ignored it because I thought it was probably just nothing. I thought he smashed his finger or something simple. Luckily it wasn't something really terrible or I would feel really awful. It just would have been nice to get him some help 10 minutes earlier. I'm glad that he's okay and didn't break his back or anything. Well, I feel better now that I have spilled my guts.

wow, Andrea that is quite a story! Good thing you went and checked on him. I am sure you will now be good friends with his family.
That is intense! Good job helping him. It seems hard to follow promptings when you have kids in the house and the prompting will take you away from the little ones. Way to go!
