We always go up to our cabin in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho over the 4th of July. It's our annual Steele Reunion and we always have a lot of fun. We were there June 30th thru July 5th this year.

I tried to get a good picture of Lauren and Will watching the fireworks. We go to the City Park every 4th and play games until it gets dark. Then we watch the fireworks that get shot off of one of the small mountains that surrounds the town.

My cousin Rachel is at Primary Children's Hospital right now with leukemia so we all wore these orange t-shirts to support her. Orange is her favorite color. They say Steelestrong on the front and Rachel #5 on the back.
Do you like his wings? I took this picture because we were going to cut his 'wings' off, but Matt boycotted the activity. I'll just have to keep pushing them behind his ears I guess.

The slide at the cabin is one of the kids' favorites. And they get filthy dirty playing in the dirt that's in between the slide and the steps.
Going for a 4-wheeler ride with Grammy. Lauren, Jordan, and Will
Here's Will just as he got off the slide.
One of the nights we had a Hoe Down and all of the kids got to make stick horses. They were so cute.
Another day we went to a picnic sight near our cabin and had the Steele Away Carnival. It was so much fun for the kids. There was a train, fishpond, cookie walk, cotton candy, shaved ice, popcorn, bean bag toss, Bingo, balloon animals, ring toss, and more. We all wore our orange shirts and took a family picture. There was about 95 of us there and that's not even all of us.
The kids loved the train!
A rare picture of Matt and I together.

William and Uncle Blake
Holding their carnival tickets and popcorn.
Will and Cannon riding the train.
My cute boy Ryan
Ryan is so ticklish. As soon as you hold his arm up he starts to laugh and squirm because he knows what's about to happen.

The annual pinata. Will took two really big hits at the pinata and burst into tears because he didn't knock any candy out.
My crazy kids
Lauren's turn at the pinata. It was a good one this year. It took a lot of hits and eventually we just dumped all the treats out because it wouldn't break open.
Lauren went on the big tree swing for the first time by herself. She wasn't so sure about it after the initial jump, but then she really enjoyed it once her stomach relaxed. It is a really big swing.
Here's Matt helping Lauren get on the swing.
My brother Tom was blowing bubbles at Ryan and he loved it. My cousin Adam is holding him and Hannah and Emma Davis are playing along.
Matt and Ryan watching the fireworks.
We always go to the parade in Soda Springs and the kids get tons of candy. They love it, but I'm not so sure that I do.
After the parade, the city has a carnival that is completely free. It is a lot of fun and really nice that we don't have to pay for anything. Here is Lauren, Will, and Jordan riding the mini ferris wheel.

CANDY!!!!!

Fun! I was just wondering if you guys were there over the 4th. My in-laws moved out of Soda, but my brother in-law wanted us to go so they could play in the bball tournament. He played, but we didn't end up going. I'm sure one year we will. Did you guys play any vball? Looks like fun!
Thanks for posting all the pictures! It's so fun to see what it all looked like. I want to be there next year!!
Wow! What a great post.
When I saw the pic of you and Matt, my first thought was, "So, that's what Andrea's husband looks like" haha! Cute couple!
